 Date Scholars

Date Scholars Logo   Write Well, Get Dates:  Building the Online Presence You Want—Start to Finish

Let's come together and whip these online dating profiles into gear! We will start you on the right track, get you writing, polish that profile, and offer suggestions for making online dating more enjoyable and productive—including information about writing initial contact emails that men will respond to, what type of pictures to include, basic online dating etiquette, and tricks for getting more viewers to your profile.  We’ve got loads of information to share that will make the difference for your online experience.

You will walk away with an online profile you can be proud of—and one that will get you dates!

Please plan on coming both nights. Space is limited to (8) women in Encore's private dining room. RSVP by calling/emailing Julie Robinson.  Food and beverages are available for purchase.  The cost of this two-part workshop is $35 (cash or check) at the door.

Julie Robinson (writer, blogger, Professor of Writing) and Karen JohnsonI will be guiding women through a writing process that brings out their very best self and showcases their fine qualities in a way that men really respond to.   Additionally, we will cover the following topics:

What should be included in an online profile and what should be omitted

Why revealing flaws in the name of honesty is not a good idea for a profile

What men are really looking for

The one quality that a woman must show that she possesses

What kind of picture gets the best responses (no, it is not a cleavage shot!)

How to write a first contact email that men will respond to (this is so crucial)

How to engage in an online conversation

How long to wait before meeting

Privacy and safety issues

... and much more!
