Playing nine holes of golf after work is complicated and still expensive. Most golf courses already host afternoon and evening leagues.  Golfers pay up front for the entire season.  Remaining same-day, nine-hole tee times are reserved early in the day.

Consequently, we meet at and play on great little hidden Par-3 courses rather than on more expensive and less interesting nine-hole courses.

Our adult singles have busy lives and don't want an every week commitment. Also, it may rain or you may have other plans.

We play on Wednesday night at Emerald Greens at Windsor Gardens located on East Alameda just south of Lowry.  This is a short but not an easy course. Experienced golfers can practice their short game skills--2/3 of your golf game.  Plus you will meet some interesting singles.

"If some superior, macho golfer pars this entire course, I will return his green fee!"   golf host John Edwards.

Requirements

Be an adult single 50+.  Come right from work. Change in the golf course dressing rooms.

Be an intermediate golfer.  (Have played before)  Beginners learn to play at our Monday night event.

Be able to hit a golf ball 100+ yards.  The holes range from 85 to 195 yards with tee shots over water. To encourage socializing, men and women play together from the back tees.  (Also less chance of getting hit by errant shots)

Register after 5:30.  Men & women team pairings will be drawn.

First tee time is at 6.

Understand this is short-game social experience. "But I want to hit my huge, expensive driver" is the whine of male golfers.  OK go ahead.  Your second shot may be off someone's patio.
