EVERYONE HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME, LAST TIME, THAT WE ARE GOING TO DO THIS EVENT AGAIN SO COME AND ENJOY ANOTHER GREAT DAY IN THE COLORADO OUTDOORS
PLACE: PINE VALLEY RANCH PARK JEFFERSON COUNTY – OPEN SPACE 30400 CRYSTAL LAKE ROAD, PINE, CO. TIME: 10 AM Until 5 PM PARK ENTRANCE FEE: Free PARK FEATURES: Picnic Area, Hiking, Biking, Fishing in the River & Lake, Horseback Riding – if you bring your own horse & horse trailer. There are public restrooms available at the park. Park elevation is around 7000 feet. HIKING TRAILS: 1.3 miles of easy to moderate trails that are “Hiker Only” & about 3 miles of “Multi-Use” trails within the park boundaries. Additional Trails – For longer hikes, the Buck Gulch Trail allows access into the Buffalo Creek Recreation Area / Pike National Forest. HIKE: Will be from 10 AM to 1 PM up the Buck Gulch Trail into the Buffalo Creek Recreation Area / Pike National Forest. Tom will have a special trail map available for you, showing the different trails. Meet at the picnic area – at the lower level parking lot area. Look for the MEETUP sign on the picnic table. PICNIC: From 1 PM to 3:30 PM at the picnic area – lowerlevel parking lot area.Bring whatever you want for yourself to eat/drink You may also want to bring along a folding chair for yourself. There are some charcoal grills available for cooking. SPECIAL NOTES: Drinking Water is Not available at this park. Tom will supply some drinking water for your use. No alcohol beverages allowed – No exceptions. No pets @ this event.
DIRECTIONS: From C-470 take Route 285 South to Pine Junction (21 miles) – take a left at the traffic light, which will be Pine Valley Road (CR 126), then go 6 miles towards Pine, CO. Just before you get to Pine, take a hard right hand turn onto Crystal Lake Road. Go one mile on Crystal Lake Road into the park. The picnic area is near the river, at the lower level parking area.
