Details: Tonight our speaker is Beki Propst, author of Absent Memories. Absent Memories is the real-life story of a 57-year old woman with epilepsy who lost all memories of her first 47 years. Her life after that could probably be described as an adventure, and it's proven to be fascinating to people she's met. Her perspective, however, is quite different. Rebecah's story tells how she has dealt with this incomprehensible misfortune to build a foundation for a rewarding life. It offers convincing evidence that, with enough persistence and hard work, anyone can learn how to deal with unimaginable obstacles.

Details: Tonight’s program is "Understanding Graffiti" presented by Nick Brown. The following was written by Nick: "My name is Nick Brown and I am 15 years old. I have been writing graffiti for almost two years and it's a driving force in my life. It started when I went to Los Angeles with a school trip and we took a graffiti tour with a famous urban artist named Man One. We toured around the city and saw names and pieces of art that are world famous. After hearing that Man One was recently paid 30,000 dollars to do the art for a subway station I realized that there was something to this. I knew it would take years to get to the point where people would offer me money to paint for them, but I was determined. I painted illegally every night for over a month and honed my skills and worked my way up the complex social ladder of the graffiti scene. Then on August 15th 2007 I was arrested and faced charges for "graffiti prohibited." Now that I have straightened out and quit painting illegally I am looking for every opportunity to paint legally that I possibly can. I will be showing pictures of people doing graffiti, amazing graffiti, different styles of graffiti, and explaining the difference between "gang" graffiti and "crew" graffiti.
