SNCW Singles Social Club

SNCW Singles Social Club meets on most Sunday evenings from 5:45 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clements Community Center, 1580 Yarrow St., Lakewood (near intersection of Colfax and Wadsworth). We enjoy a meal together, followed by an entertaining/informative program or social mixer.  Some of our most popular meetings include a white elephant gift exchange, soup and chili cook-off, barn dance, and holiday theme dinners.  We also have other activities which are held on other days of the week.

$7.00 Door fee for members and guests.  The guest fee is $10 after 30 days from initial visit, if you do not join.

Most members are in their 40s, 50s and 60s.

Details: Back by popular demand! Gregg Green, singer and guitarist, will entertain us with acoustic folk, soft rock, and country music. In 1990, Gregg joined national recording star Jeannie Marie's band, "Country Legacy," playing rhythm guitar and sharing lead and harmony vocals. As a member of the Country Legacy band from 1990 to 1996, Gregg had the opportunity to be an opening act for stars such as Alan Jackson and Ricky Scaggs. Meanwhile Gregg has kept his solo career active by performing many styles of music at clubs, restaurants, parties, grand openings, corporate events, weddings and other functions.... and now he'll be performing at SNCW! Details: Our program tonight is "Put Your Mind in the Game - The Secret to Achieving Athletic Success" by Joyce Morris. If you play any kind of sports game, or work out, or if you know anyone who does, you RE ALLY want to learn how to "Put Your Mind In The Game." Experience dramatic improvements in your skill and even your strength faster than you can imagine - sometimes the results are immediate. Details: Come out to our annual Memorial Day Picnic and celebrate the holiday weekend with your SNCW friends. The picnic will be at Helen H.’s home and will begin at 4:00 P.M. The club will supply hamburgers and hot dogs and Carl P. will be our grill master. The club will also supply iced tea and all the paper products and condiments. Please bring a potluck side item or desert, a chair, and anything else you desire to drink. We will be charging $4 to members with food, $7 without food, and $10 for guests.
