I've planned a 50's Dance for this Saturday so you can role up
those blue jeans, slick your hair back and wear a white t-shirt
with a pack of cigs rolled up in the sleeves, or wear your
favorite bowling shirt. Girls you can show us your poodle skirts
and saddle oxfords or cuff your blue jeans also.
Just plan on the weather moving out of here by Saturday so we
can have a great 50's dance.
Because 2012 is a leap year, we're making this a Sadie Hawkins
Affair, so ladies, it's your turn to ask the guys to dance
during the evening.
I've asked Maggie Francucci of
www.DanceConnectionColorado.com to teach East Coast Swing
(Jitterbug) for this special occassion. The lesson starts at 7pm
and is included in the $10. dance admission.
Mike Sangster from the Hot Toddy Band will be entertaining us
from 8-11pm with plenty of Rock N Roll and Elvis tunes. He'll
also play some waltzes and other favorite dance music for us.

the vendor room****
Alex, from Meralexshoes, is bringing ALL the shoes he has in
stock...and has them marked down to unheard of prices, hoping to
deplete his inventory.
All Ladies shoes in stock will be $65. Mens
shoes in stock will be $75.
You can arrive when the doors open at 6pm for a traditional
German meal for only $5.00 served by the volunteers in the
Kickers kitchen. They make fresh potato salad and sauerkraut
every evening to go with their brats and also have plenty of
desserts available.
Admission is still $10 per person, for the dance and the
pre-dance lesson, and my Discount Punch card makes it even
cheaper.
Discount Punch Cards are available for $50 each for six dance
admissions, a $10. savings. They can also be used at the Ramada
Hotel for the Sunday dances.
( 6 dance admissions for the price of 5..... It's really a
deal.)
We will have our Triple Waltz Mixer during the evening and our
door prize drawings around 10pm.

and 3rd Friday of every month in 2012.
February 4, Saturday, Mike Sangster will be playing and lesson
will be in East Coast Swing (Jitterbug)
February 17, Friday, Our Mardi Gras Affair
At the Ramada: The hotel is located at Speer and Zuni on
the west side of Interstate 25.
For 2012, I'll be hosting dances on the third Sundays in
the second floor ballroom.
We had a great time last Sunday, January 29, at the Ramada in
the second floor ballroom. Maggie gave us a surprise visit and
taught the Meringue so we could have a Meringue Mixer. I think
the dancers enjoyed it. We still did the Waltz Mixer later in
the evening. Some of our newer dancers that have joined us since
our New Years Eve dance told me they had a great time and
would be back.
******** I've got problems with my website and can't update the
pages with 2012 information. I hope to have this resolved soon,
but In the mean time if you know dancers that aren't on my email
list, please help me keep them informed. Thanks for your
support. I couldn't do this without you.
