People occasionally ask about how this website was started and who runs it.  This is a brief background.

For many years Bill Maas of Bill Charlie's Excellent Adventures provided a regular emailing to hundreds of  singles in the Denver area listing quality events to attend.  Every year Bill would organize an Annual Singles' New Years Eve Party attended by 400 to 500 singles.   Corinna took over the emailing for  years to over a thousand singles.

As a newly divorced single I deeply appreciated being able to go to dances, take dance lessons, attend Divorce Recovery and Communication Workshops.   However it  was  difficult  for me to keep track of all the events taking place on the various e-mails. I also wanted to make these events available to more people,  so I decided to create a calendar format of singles events and publish it on the web.

In September of 1999 the first edition of www.denverfaith.com was published.  It was simply a calendar format for singles events.  I decided in September of 2003  that we could reach a wider audience if we changed the name. So at that point we became www.denversocial.com.

There is no organization supporting or controlling this website. I have provided the financing and time it takes to update it each week.  I hope you will tell your friends about denversocial.com and come  to some of the events posted here.
